Dynamic Workshop for Students

This one-of-a-kind workshop will confront the truths of the modern world, while preparing students to move through this world with their faith not just intact, but thriving. Unique tools such as the “Fairness Metric”, “The Golden Circle”, and “The Gap” create a dynamic environment. Humor, storytelling, and Biblical principles help shape the narrative, making this a learning experience students will never forget.

Workshops conducted throughout the United States, and presented as full day, half day, or as part of regular curriculum.

Who Are You

We spend time discussing how little prepared we have been for most of life’s greatest challenges. Being married. Being a parent. Starting a career. God knows who we are, and what we are capable of. Sometimes the world has tried to define us by the things we’ve done, rather than what we believe.

The Fairness Metric

Life isn’t fair – Thank God. By definition, grace is underserved. We talk about how a need for fairness is really a very human need for control. If the world is fair and orderly (according to our own sensibilities of order) then we feel in control. Of coursewe aren’t in control. God is. And when things go “out of order”, or not in accordance to our expected outcomes, we assign blame to everyone else, including God.

What's Next

We realize that our expectations of life often don’t match up with realities of life, and that causes us angst. We need to focus on God’s plans and expectations for us rather than our own. And we have learned to begin to discern who we are in Christ. As one member of the Body of Christ, with unique gifts but common beliefs, we are called to use those gifts to bring glory back to God.
